I'm Aron Durkin and I'm a professional animator working in the video games industry since graduating University in 2007.

Also since then, I've been taking pictures as a hobby. I've grown to truly appreciate the wonders of nature through photography. As someone with a serious lifelong visual impairment, photography has literally allowed me to see the world in a whole new way.

As you can tell from the images of this site, my main passion is wildlife but I also take pride and joy in photographing people and places, and to generally try new challenges. Whether it is to simply capture the world in its intrinsic beauty or to tell a story or simply convey the emotion of a single moment.

As an animator my daily job is about creating life, personality and charm. Constantly evaluating and appreciating the structure of shapes and forms, colour and light, pose and movement. I endeavour to incorporate both my profession and my hobby to create the kind of art I can be proud of.
